IF YOU ARENT HIP TO TWELVEY I THINK ITS TIME TO GIVE HIS MUSIC A CHANCE, WHEN WE SAY UNDERATED WE MEAN IT IN EVERY SENSE. TIMELESS MUSIC!

To start with this record the production is a beautiful composition, it allows you to feel the music transitioning sonically. It's well-pieced and displays the craft of the producer perfectly. It's smooth but has enough essence and depth to let you fall into the music. The rhyming for this record completes the music and adds equal value to the track. The rhyming merges with the production and substance of the lyrics to paint a beautiful picture and allow you to see his direction lyrically. A lot of quotables, and a lot of lines that are pretty real. There is a good variety of lyricism and flow, the way he rhymes on this record you simply get drawn into the music. That's one dynamic to a timeless record.

The feel of the record is amazing as well, being able to compliment the production so well is a gift within itself. A$AP Twelvey drops Metaphor after metaphor and punchlines that allow you to see that he's a sharp lyricist, but the content of the lyrics also show he’s a conscious brother of what's happening in his surroundings and in life. “Traded my red Octobers for a new heater”. Witty lines give the record personality, the flow blends well with the production. Sonically the record sounds full of depth. While listening, I get the picture of an ocean, full of life, full of flow. This record is well executed. His delivery and cadence are top tier which also aids in you absolutely feeling the lines.

This is good hip-hop, it displays a true artistic expression and art. He sounds true to himself but also shows there's much more to his pen, the lyrics are multi-dimensional. A few aspects of being an established artist, a few aspects of being a black man in the world, a few aspects of being on his grind still. The music is extremely relatable even though he might not live the life that the average man lives. “Put my pain in music got my scars hitting” with lines like this, this will continue to be on heavy rotation. Great lyrical visuals!

Side note: The speech at the end shows he’s HUNGRY but thankful. A PERFECT Addition to anchor the record.
