3 Best Things About Broccoli City Festival 2024

With a sold out of over 50,000 attendees, Broccoli City 2024 is another memorable weekend in the books. This year is a transitional one for the two-day festival, moving venues from DC's RFK Stadium to Audi Field. Even amidst the changes, fans were still treated to an overall great experience. Let's get into the three best things about Broccoli City Festival 2024.

1.  Wonderful Selections for Artist Lineup

One thing that Broccoli City champions is consistently providing stellar lineups. This year is no different as they had the crowd at Converse Stage electrified from start to finish. Megan Thee Stallion and Gunna delivered amazing closeout performances as the headliners, while earlier acts like Baby Tate and Fridayy left their own marks as they hit the stage. Fans were also in for a treat with a couple of surprise performances from Domani and Offset.

2. Amazing Immersive Experiences for Attendees

One of the most underrated aspects about this weekend are the various pop-up experiences spread across festival grounds. Their choice of moving the festival to Audi Field is an interesting one for a festival crowd, but it paid off, allowing sponsors like NPR, Converse, and Shea Moisture to provide unique curations of their own for attendees.

3. Date Changes Leads to Amazing Weather

For years, Broccoli City has been battling an unwritten curse of bad weather somehow ruining parts of the festivities. The past two years were riddled with rainstorms, sometimes causing entire sets to cancel. Their decision to host the festival at the end of July not only paid off by not having any storms, but it allowed for beautiful weather as the region just came off a heat wave leading up to the weekend. For anyone needing to take a break from the heat, attendees could take cover to grab food, explore the compound, or just catch their breath.
