The underground dance music-oriented Rosa Festival is set to return for its second year and they've got some exciting news to share. The festival just dropped its first-wave lineup announcement for 2023, and it promises to be bigger and better than last year's sell-out debut.

The organizers have brought together a diverse array of artists from the underground dance music scene, ensuring that everyone has something to look forward to. The festival will be headlined by Jungle Music legends Ed Solo and Samurai Breaks, both renowned for their unique styles. Ed Solo, one of the head honchos of Jungle Cakes, brings a form of revivalist, roots-inspired music to ravers that has made him a fan-favourite for years. Samurai Breaks represents a more experimental side of Jungle, with influences from early Breakbeat, Techno, and UK Grime.

But the lineup doesn't stop there; the festival will also feature Jump-Up fast-risers Basstripper and Sota, alongside the Hard Trance icon Comms. Basstripper, hailing from Belgium, is known as a must-see fixture in clubs and warehouses around the world, while Sota, based in the UK, is respected by DnB fans and DJs alike for his intricate sound design. Comms, on the other hand, is known for his extravagant stage presence and largely self-produced sets, bringing some free-party flavor to the Peak District this July.

The organizers have also introduced a brand new stage for bands to showcase their talents. A selection of independent groove and rock-focused bands such as funk six-piece We Hate the Sharkman, Funk'd Up Collective, and Heritage will perform alongside many others, adding to the variety of the lineup.

Rosa Festival 2023 will take place in the Peak District, offering a unique opportunity to experience a diverse range of underground music in a stunning natural setting. With an increased capacity and a new site, this year's festival promises to be an unforgettable event that you won't want to miss.
