Max Smith wears his heart on his sleeve in latest single "Miss Me"

Though it is equally tough to survive among the industry's more prominent personalities who have set the bar high with incredible accomplishments,  like "FRIENDS" and "Runaway" hitmaker Max Smith, is cementing his stance in the music industry. As a result, the shine of his ever-growing platform within the world of progressive music culture only becomes brighter.

Smith pulls from his personal life experiences, which serve as the culmination of his artistic expression. Having lived between both the UK and US, Max hits the studio day in and day out and has conducted his approach so well that the creative process like second nature. He's rapping in melodic fashion and is playing with some interesting flows as he crafts a sound. You can clearly hear the innovation on his latest single "Miss Me". On top of that, he's never frightened of failing or learning anything new with his production.

Songwriters, engineers, and record producers who treat what they do as a passion and not merely a job tend to be the most successful in their endeavours, and it's evident in the work they put forward. Working on the same project or song can be daunting if the melody isn't right or the drums sit correctly in the mix. Smith has learned from experience that a fresh perspective is a key to turning any demo into a record; he adds:
"There have been many hurdles in my career so far, and this has inspired me to talk about these struggles in the words of some of my songs," shares Smith. He continues, "I know that it’s a journey that I must take myself, and that I need to be the source of my own inspiration to continue with it; that needs a tremendous amount of courage and faith which I have in abundance. I will continue to be more patient with this journey and fulfill my destiny to accomplish these goals that I’ve set for myself."
Smith portrays himself as utterly human – sometimes that can be flawed. Some of that is heard in his raw lyrics. He will not shy away from the time he has wasted or battled creative stumps to keep working on a new song. While musicians can be regarded as arrogant, he's anything but. He's committed to taking as much time as possible to ensure his discography reflects an honest reflection of his musical journey and it's undeniable that he is a force to be considered.
