As we continue to cling on to the UK festival season that has come and gone in the blink of an eye, all roads lead to FORWARDS festival this weekend on 31st August and 1st September for Bristol locals and beyond.

Taking place on Clifton Down in Bristol UK on both Saturday and Sunday, the festival marks one of the biggest events in the city's calendar since its inception in 2022. This year some of the biggest and current names in the industry will descend on Bristol's picturesque Downs, including Loyle Carner, Four Tet, Floating Points, Joy Anonymous, Greentea Peng, Romy, and more on Saturday, and LCD Soundsystem, Underworld, Yard Act, Crazy P and more on Sunday.

Continuing to support Bristol's bubbling live music scene, these household names will also be joined by homegrown talent across the weekend on The Information By Night stage, including local acts Laimu, Cousin Kula, Lice, Kwazi, and many more exciting talent to be discovered.

Not just a music festival, the event organisers have made it their duty to highlight FORWARDS as a progressive and sustainable event that will also host talks and social initiatives around race, gender identity, and climate change. Dedicated to providing a greener future in the events industry and beyond and becoming a leading institution that pushes these values, FORWARDS aims to harness the power of live events and spark initiatives and social change through debates and discussions.

This is all thanks to the people behind the event, Big Team CIC and Team Canteen CIC (AKA Team Love), who run Forwards Thinking, a platform for year-round social initiatives in the city. These inspirational experts, artists, writers, and thinkers from across the social and political spectrum will also share their voices on The Information stage in the day, before becoming a melting pot of new music by night.

Tickets for the FORWARDS festival can still be purchased here if you're not too late. The event takes place on 31st August and 1st September from 12 PM-11 PM on Clifton Down, Bristol

For all information on the festival head to their website here.
