These are the mashes that are worth hearing, so stop your searching and instead settle down at your computer… turn up your speakers… and get ready for that sweet nectar that only EARMILK can give ya. Let's GO!

Another weekend has come and gone, and the wait for the next weekend, which seems so far away, has begun. But why suffer in misery? A little bit of music, and more specifically mashups, doesn't hurt anyone. So let's start our week off with little bit of Leeya. This Greek and Polish wonder hits the mark with her "Your Eyes Are Cold", as it's a nice pick-me-up track that will jumpstart your day. Choosing to go with Safia's remix of Aston Shuffle's "Tear It Down", the production and pitched down vocals are a perfect embodiment of the feeling you get knowing that you have a long day ahead of you. But fret not, Buried Bird's "To Each His Own For The Same Way" provides that little bit of pep, that energy you absolutely need to keep on going through the day. But much like night draws to a close, we are taken back to wonderful keyboard notes that wraps up the entire track nicely.

On the other hand, Belanger's "Return", combining Mark Morrison's "Return of the Mack" and Tube & Berger's infectious "Imprint of Pleasure", is an upbeat summery track that is perfect for that quick trip to the beach you've been secretly wanting to take. While the beat is a bit fast, you'll have no issue belting out the vocals of "Return of the Mack" (that you may have forgotten you remembered). Belanger is a new artist to me, but he made a solid first impression.

Speaking of summery track, Matoma's mashup/remix featuring "Hold On Be Strong" by Tupac and "Big Poppa" by Notorious B.I.G. is just screaming for you to grab your swimsuit, a pair of sandals, and a ice-cold drink. With production that is reminiscent of Kygo, FlicFlac, and Thomas Jack, Matoma gives you that feel-good track that is certain to brighten up your day. Tupac and Notorious B.I.G. are interesting sample choices for vocals, but they add a bit of raw bravado to the mash/remix as a whole. If you're in search for a straight EDM banger, then Trademark provides the ammo. While this mash is a couple of months old (released during my summer trip to Chile), it's typical Trademark. With the beat coming courtesy of East Freaks' "Leave It" and a helping of Cosmic Gate's "Falling Back", poppy vocals courtesy of Afrojack's "Ten Feet Tall" featuring Wrabel. there is an abundance of energy that will have you throwing caution to the wind. Once you've finished up your work day, save this one for the drive to the gym as a nice little prep track for your time spent relieving your work stress.

Looking for a little bit of funk? Then look no further than Paolo Monti's "Pushing On Black Betty". Ram Jam's "Black Betty" is an absolute classic, and hearing that unforgettable "Whoa, Black Betty…bam ba lam" as Oliver $ and Jimi Jules' "Pushing On" provides that classic deep house sound. It's an combination that works wonderfully in my mind, and one that would effortlessly win over any party/house crowd. Ending us off, we have a George Andreas edit that samples Bingo Players, Hardwell, and Deorro. 100% dance-inducing, this edit is reserved for that Friday celebration signaling the start of a much needed weekend.

Alas, it's only Monday…but no worries, there are more tracks below to help you get through the week. Grab any track you want here, and hit up the comments with feedback, suggestions, or just a simple hello. Drink up EARMILK family, and be on the lookout for next week's collection.
