Burgeoning Brazilian producer VXSION has released his official remix of The Temper Trap's seminal track "Sweet Disposition." Out now on Mushroom Music, Glassnote Records, and BMG, the 20-year-old prodigy's soulful, enchanting rendition breathes new life into the lauded original. VXSION’s official remix is making its way to listeners in a celebratory period for the Temper Trap, whose 15th Anniversary album is slated for release later this month.

VXSION's take on "Sweet Disposition" showcases his signature blend of deep, organic grooves with impactful melodies and driving rhythms. Now seeing official release, his remix has been a coveted ID since 2023. The cinematic remix has already gained significant traction, with house mavericks Keinemusik dropping it in nearly every set of their most recent tour dates. This exposure catapulted VXSION into the spotlight, earning support from industry titans like Black Coffee, Vintage Culture, Nora En Pure, Tiesto, and Pete Tong.

Widely regarded as an enduring indie anthem, Australian band The Temper Trap originally released “Sweet Disposition” in 2008, capturing audiences globally with its uplifting sound. Since then, few-but-mighty remixes by prominent forces in dance music have been able to see their reimaginings of the seminal track through to official release. VXSION’s soulful, enchanting, easy-on-the-ears rendition sees him join the ranks of other select remixers such as Swedish House Mafia, Vintage Culture, and Cristoph.

Sharing on the release, VXSION says "“Sweet Disposition” was one of those tracks which just came to life. I always loved the original and one night I decided to remix it. I felt like for me to match the song's authenticity and emotion I had to create something super unique. I was so inspired and connected with the project I couldn't just press pause – after a few hours on the same night, it was sunrise and I had finished the whole track. I sent it to all of my favorite musicians – and almost a month later I received the video of Keinemusik (&ME) playing it out in one of his shows. Weeks later I came to find out that the remix started to go viral and I received many messages from people who were moved emotionally by the remix – to me, that was when I knew I had found my purpose."

This release follows VXSION's meteoric rise in 2024, marked by his chart-topping collaboration "Amana" with Maz, which cemented VXSION as one of the hottest new talents to watch, with a slew of hugely anticipated releases slated for the rest of the year. “Amana” is now a staple in the sets of some of the biggest names in dance music. Other major recent releases include an official remix of Flight Facilities “Days of  the Week” and an official remix of Emmit Fenn’s “The Chase”.

VXSION's explosive talent has also seen him gracing the decks at coveted venues worldwide, including electrifying sets at Shellona in St. Tropez, Jolene in Miami, Gospel in New York, Snowlodge with Rampa in Aspen, La Cabestan in Casablanca, Ahm in Beirut, Amlou in Los Angeles, and many more.

While his accolades and dizzying success are remarkable for someone his age, it's VXSION's authentic musicality and artistic vision that truly set him apart. Drawing inspiration from influences like &ME, Antdot, and Kgzoo, he aims to create intentional, timeless music that is undeniably his own, marrying elements of his Brazilian heritage with cutting-edge house and afro-house.
