Nikki Silva strips it down with soul-stirring single, ‘Real’

Nikki Silva has added another layer to it. With her genre-defying blend of blunt force rock & roll and subtle pop shine, Silva channels the tireless power of New York City into every vocal cord she uses. With her newest single, “Real,” she ventures into new territory with an emotionally raw and deeply personal ballad that captures a profoundly intimate and almost universally relatable feeling.

“Real,” on the underhand, peels away some of those layers and offers a softer look at vulnerability, authenticity, and persistence. In contrast to the bold aggression of her most recent single, “psycho gf,” the track revisits a more reflective tone from silva, showing her incredible range and versatility.

Following the release and inspiration behind “Real” are based on this very concept. Far more haunting with its melody accompanied by Poetic storytelling, “Real” acts like an intimate conversation of moments we shared with ourselves in retrospect. For those days when you think you are just a speck in the galaxy of things, take solace in knowing that not only are you but one dot of millions… Put on this song and shimmer.

With her releasing art this good, it comes as no surprise the Brazilian artist continues to gain a legion of genuine followers, and “Real” further cements her status as an emotionally honest presence in an oversaturated music market. Nikki Silva is a force to be reckoned with, whether she's lighting up the stage with her mesmerizing energy or writing anthems that speak the language of the heart.
