Known for its immersive soundscapes and celebration of underground music cultures, Boiler Room’s SYSTEM series dives deep into the sound system heritage of the diaspora. From its roots in the Caribbean to evolving internationally in metropolitan music hubs, SYSTEM highlights sound system-focused music where communities form and thrive. For its Bristol edition, SYSTEM is set to deliver a nine-hour journey through bass-heavy rhythms and genre-defying performances, bringing both local and global artists of the moment to the forefront including Hamdi, Bullet Tooth, Amaia, Mia Koden, Yemz, Oppidan, Dual Monitor and EMA.

Hosting this landmark event, The Prospect Building is Bristol’s latest cultural epicenter. The 25,000-square-foot venue opened earlier this summer and has already established itself as a versatile space for both large-scale and intimate events hosting the likes of Overmono, Bonobo Presents, Floating Points Live and Daphni, RUN x Let It Roll, Junction 2 x Fabric 25 x Bitch Please!, FUSE, Dimitri From Paris and more.

Boasting cutting-edge L-Acoustics sound systems and a modular setup, The Prospect Building is equipped to deliver immersive auditory and visual experiences. Its main stage, flanked by integrated screens and lasers, offers a striking focal point, while its secondary room provides a more intimate atmosphere with surround sound. The addition of an outdoor courtyard and food vendors further enhances its versatility, making it a perfect match for Boiler Room’s eclectic approach.

SYSTEM not only promises high-octane performances but also highlights the cultural synergy between Boiler Room’s global reach and Bristol’s deeply rooted relationship within sound system culture. The Prospect Building’s design and ethos align perfectly with this mission, prioritising both local collaboration and international acts. The venue’s development team, behind renowned festivals like Junction 2, has ensured that the space reflects Bristol’s dynamic arts scene, blending industrial charm with forward-thinking innovation.

For fans of Boiler Room and the city’s music enthusiasts, December 7th at the Prospect Building is more than just an event—it’s a celebration of Bristol’s place on the global music map and is poised to resonate deeply within the city’s vibrant music scene.
