Rebecca Haviland and Whiskey Heart share new EP 'LATE NIGHTS' with focus track "Sins"

Fierce rock and roll act Whiskey Heart and front woman Rebecca Haviland unveil new five-track EP LATE NIGHTS, alongside grungy focus track “Sins,” capturing the lively and addictive energy of performing on stage.

Rooted in a traditional blues sonic signature, the track brims with a touch of nervous adrenaline alongside a sweeping sense of satisfaction, framed by powerful yet distorted vocals and thoughtful lyricism.

Speaking of the track, Haviland says, “I wrote this song almost ten years ago.  It didn’t feel quite right for Whiskey Heart, but I knew there was something special about this song.  I came back to it when I was working on songs for this record, changed the feel, rewrote the chorus, and added the post chorus.  I’ve always been a huge fan of 90s grunge, and this song is heavily influenced by my love for the bands Eleven and Soundgarden.”

The track is accompanied by psychedelic visuals that depicts the powerful, addictive role that music plays in our lives and the deep sense of withdrawal we all experienced when COVID stripped that connection from us.

With a hope-tinged message that urges us to embrace the journey to finding our way back to music and rediscovering ourselves, the track and visuals come together to evoke a feeling of fulfilment within us.

An alluring collection framed by Haviland’s captivating presence and a sonic versatility spanning rock, soul and Americana, the EP is a self-reflective glimpse of being lifelong rocker in NYC, pulling us into a world that feels small and expansive all at once.
