CHRISTOS and Imagine the Rapper, & Delipres delivers a raw emotion with 'Skeleton'

CHRISTOS’ new single “Skeleton” features Imagine the Rapper and Delipres, serving a blast of punk rock, alt-pop, and rap energy. With visceral lyrics and electrifying instrumentation, this collaboration submerges listeners in the raw inner muck of identity, alienation, and the unending road to self-acceptance.

“Skeletal” seizes you with unabashed intensity upon its opening chord. Soaring, gritty vocals from CHRISTOS deliver a punk-inspired punch and Imagine the Rapper adds depths with expertly-mixed alt-pop hooks and introspective rap verses. Delipres’s incisive production knits it all together, creating a track as emotionally devastating as it is sonically contagious.

Lyrically, the song does not mince words. Lyrics like “I hide inside of my thick skin, I turn into a skeleton” express the skin-crawling feeling of vulnerability and resilience. CHRISTOS says, “For much of my life, I’ve felt isolated within the very spaces I’m meant to be a part of. ‘Skeleton’ captures that constant push and pull, that hope to be seen, and the weight of expectations.” “It’s about giving so much to others that you’re left hollow,” says the Rapper. That emptiness, that longing for connection and love, is what it feels like to be a skeleton.”

As two stars on the rise from Australia’s alternative scene, CHRISTOS and Imagine the Rapper bring realness. CHRISTOS’s maximalist sound has already taken him on sold-out dates and netted him an enviable catalog of exciting singles. At the same time, Imagine the Rapper’s borderline punk approach is rewriting the new alt-pop and rap rulebook straight from behind his recent East Coast dates.
